that is peeling-off with a wire brush or sand paper.
·
Step 3
Clean the RV
roof to remove any dirt, debris and loose material.
·
Step 4
In a large
bucket mix one-part chlorine with three parts water. Use this mixture to clean
the RV roof from oil, grease and other stiff residues.
·
Step 5
Use a garden hose
to power-wash the roof and allow the roof to dry.
·
Step 6
With the help of
stiff brush apply patching cement to any seams and screw heads on the
roof. Patching cement should extend 1 inch beyond all seams and edges.
·
Step 7
Allow the
patching cement to dry.
·
Step 8
Open and stir
the roof coating.
·
Step 9
Apply roof
coating with the help of paint brushes and nap rollers. It is important to
follow the directions mention on the container or coating’s manual as to how
thick the coating should be applied and how many square feet a container of
roof coating should cover.
·
Step 10
Allow the
coating to dry as roof coatings take some time to cure properly. Apply second
coat after the first coat is dried however with roof coating like RV Roof Magic
there is no need of a primer or a second coat.
